Anwar Ratol mango is a small-sized yet powerfully sweet mango variety, celebrated for its rich aroma, smooth texture, and intense sweetness. Originally from Rataul village in Uttar Pradesh, India, it has become a prized variety in Pakistan, especially cultivated in Multan and Punjab regions. Despite its smaller size, it delivers a flavor far superior to many larger mangoes.

A ripe Anwar Ratol has a deep golden-yellow skin, sometimes with hints of green. Unlike larger mangoes, it remains firm even when ripe, making it easy to handle and eat without mess. However, once cut open, its fiberless, juicy pulp melts in the mouth with an intense honey-like sweetness.

Anwar Ratol has two harvest seasons:

• Early-season harvest (May-June) – Slightly firmer texture with a balanced sweetness.
• Late-season harvest (July-August) – Softer pulp with even higher sugar content.

Because of its exceptionally sweet nature, it is known as “The Small Wonder” and is highly demanded both locally and internationally.
